My Day

As you know (if you read the other post) Saturday was my birthday. It started off really great. My mom, sisters and sister in law all got together for a morning of foot pleasure. We went to 99Nails and got pedicures. I haven't had one in a while so this was way overdue. Here we are just getting started. From left to right is my sister Heather, sister in law Sky, Mom, and Me. (my other sister Danielle was a little late getting there so she isn't in the picture.)

I was the first one done with my pedi. I soon found out that this was because I was the only one who wasn't offered a design on my nails. I was a little bit sad about that and I pouted a little. (hey, it's my party and I'll cry if I want to) So Sky asked if I could get a design and so this amazing talented guy painted my toes. Here is what the final products looked like...

Starting at the bottom middle and going counter clockwise is Me, Sky, Heather, Danielle, and Mom. My mom asked if the guy to put a Mickey Mouse on her toe (the woman is obsessed with Disney) she was thinking that he would just do the standard 3 circles to make the outline of a Mickey head, but no. He used the picture of Mickey Mouse off of my mom's purse to paint a full cartoon Mickey. I couldn't believe it. It looks like a sticker. I thought mine was pretty cool too. I had the same guy paint a Hibiscus on me. It seriously looks like a decal that was stuck on instead of something that was painted. It was really awesome.
After our pedicures we went to lunch. Here is a picture of my mom and me at lunch.

And the sweetest husband ever arranged for these flowers to be delivered (by his floraly connected mom) to me. The lilies and white roses are from Jason and the red roses are supposed to be from Dyson and Ridgedon. It was such a nice surprise to see such beautiful arrangements that were just for me.
