Because I'm behind in my posting I'm putting this entry in a week late. Richard came home from his mission last Monday the 27th. He had been serving in the Mexico, Torreon Mission. (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) It's actually the same mission that his older brother served in just a few years before. 3 of the 4 boys in Jason's family have served in Mexico and Jason is the only one to not go to a spanish speaking mission. His dad went to Bolivia, Dave went to Monterey Mexico (again with the spelling) and Brad and Rich both went to the above mentioned Mexico mission. Poor Jas, he got left out. (That's alright with me though, I prefer the Italian language anyway...and the food too)
Ridge was only 4 months old when Rich left on his mission and so he didn't really know who he was and didn't want anything to do with him. In fact he was upset that I let some strange guy hold his baby sister!
Dyson of course was so happy to have uncle Rich home.
Ridge has since warmed up to this new uncle and we have enjoyed having him around. We will only get to hang out with him for a few weeks before we head back to Grenada so the boys have been making the most of their time with him. They like to go in the basement and wake up Richard in the early morning and play. I bet uncle Rich is glad we only have a few weeks!
We love having Rich home and want to tell him how proud we are of him and wonderful it is to be around him. Thanks for your great example and for the time you have taken with all the kids. They love you and so do I.
Welcome HOME Richard!
