Every day life
Not much has happened here over the past week or so. The kids are finally over all their sicknesses, which is such a relief. I really hate it when the kids are sick.
I have a doctor's appointment on Monday, and we are hoping to find out the gender of the baby then, but we'll see how it goes. I'm pretty sure it's a boy but you never know. I have been craving some really interesting food. Yesterday, for the first time since I was a small child, I ate eggs! For those who don't know, I got sick eating eggs as a child and have not been able to eat them since. I have tried several times through out the years to eat eggs and I have not been able too...until yesterday. We were having egg salad sandwiches and for some reason they sounded sooo good. So I took a taste and it was so yummy! Jason called right at the time that I was enjoying my egg salad, and when I told him what I was eating he couldn't believe it. I guess it goes to show that pregnancy really does make you eat strange things!

Any Advice?
According to my brother they had an argument on Friday, and that was the last anyone had heard from her. Her parents found her Sunday morning when they went to wake her for church. Of course my brother feels a little guilty since they had a fight, and blames himself to a degree for what happened. He is so devastated right now that our family fears he may try to follow in his footsteps. We don't know what to say or how to say it. Of course we don't want him to do anything drastic, but we are all a little scared. I can think of lots of things to say that are based on gospel principles but the problem is that he says he doesn't have faith in those things anymore.
Nobody in my family has ever had to face a suicide before. I'm not sure what to do. I love my brother and want to help him. It's a lot easier to deal with the natural or accidental death of someone, but this is so foreign to me I don't even know where to begin. If any of you have any advice on how to approach this sensitive situation it would be appreciated.

The Great Sara Does it Again!
In March before we left to come home my very good friend in Grenada took some pictures of the boys. They are so incredible! And I thought I would share some of my favorite ones with you. This one is Dyson writing his name in the sand. He loves to write his name and had fun doing it with his finger on the beach.
Sara is so talented. Can you believe that she just stared exploring her talents in this area. She got her camera for Christmas and has been taking photos of all the kids in Grenada. She truly has a gift.
I love these two pictures of Ridge. He was being such a pill on this day and you can see that he had been crying. He has a little tear on his cheek in the picture. Luckily we had Jayson (Sara's husband) there to help get him to smile. Ridge adores Jayson.
This is the magic of Jayson. If anyone can get Ridge to smile when he is being difficult it is Jayson. I love Ridgedon's smile, and I am so glad Sara was able to capture the look of happiness on his face. When I see this picture I want to snuggle him and love him!
The day we went to do pictures it was a little rainy. Ridge is holding his hands out to feel the rain. I love this picture! OK, pretty much I love all the pictures of my kids. I think they are the cutest little people on this planet! I am the luckiest mom in the world!

Easter!
Ridge did start out with pants on but because he is built like his dad, it is hard to find pants that fit. They were a little big and so he ditched them early on so he could make better time finding the eggs.

Stupid Computer
But for right now I thought I would write and update everyone on my situation. As most of you know I was really sick before I left Grenada. (in fact, that is the reason I left so quickly) Since coming back I have started to feel a little better and I'm pretty sure it's mostly due to the fact that I eat fresh fruit whenever I want to, and I am on American drugs. Yeah! I still feel like I am constantly car sick, but the throwing up has gone down to only a few times a day. I have gained some of my weight back and when I went to the doctor they did an ultrasound just to make sure that everything was good, and I am in fact pregnant.
We are all doing well and had a good Easter Holiday. Of course it wasn't quite the same being away from Jason, but we managed as best we could and I only cried a little. I have some really cute pictures I would like to post but again...stupid computer.
I have been trying to keep busy to pass the time that I am spending away from Jas, and sometimes that is easier said than done. But the children do keep me quite busy!
I miss you Jas, and love you more than words!

Updates
Things are moving right along here in Grenada. Looking back over the last week I realized how much really doesn’t change from week to week. We are so boring in fact that I nearly forgot that we had a holiday last week! I guess I can blame that on the fact that holidays aren’t as commercialized here as they are in the states.
Jason and I didn’t really do much for Valentine’s day because I was feeling a little under the weather (which isn’t hard to do when you usually have beautiful weather) and plus V-day was on Thursday and Jas still had school. On Wednesday I took Dyson to a valentine making party where he decorated and ate a cookie, and played with his friends.
On Friday we went to movie night up at the school. We “watched” Ratatouille. Actually the boys ran around with all the other kids and the adults sat and talked. But it was a great way to spend an evening.
Ridgedon has found a new fascination with the potty. For the last few weeks he has been unrolling all the toilet paper and either leaving it on the floor or putting it in the toilet. His new thing as of this week, is to say “potty” and insist on me letting him sit on it. This of course is preferable to the clogging of the toilet. Although it would be even better if he would use the potty, but I guess that will come later.
I am getting ready to come home in April. Danielle just got her passport so now everything is set. It is such a nice feeling to have all the loose ends with traveling tied up.
Jason is getting ready for another final, this time it is in Community and Preventative Medicine. He says it shouldn’t be a hard test and feels pretty good about it. Of course I am stressed out and want him to Ace it.
