Things are moving right along here in Grenada. Looking back over the last week I realized how much really doesn’t change from week to week. We are so boring in fact that I nearly forgot that we had a holiday last week! I guess I can blame that on the fact that holidays aren’t as commercialized here as they are in the states.
Jason and I didn’t really do much for Valentine’s day because I was feeling a little under the weather (which isn’t hard to do when you usually have beautiful weather) and plus V-day was on Thursday and Jas still had school. On Wednesday I took Dyson to a valentine making party where he decorated and ate a cookie, and played with his friends.
On Friday we went to movie night up at the school. We “watched” Ratatouille. Actually the boys ran around with all the other kids and the adults sat and talked. But it was a great way to spend an evening.
Ridgedon has found a new fascination with the potty. For the last few weeks he has been unrolling all the toilet paper and either leaving it on the floor or putting it in the toilet. His new thing as of this week, is to say “potty” and insist on me letting him sit on it. This of course is preferable to the clogging of the toilet. Although it would be even better if he would use the potty, but I guess that will come later.
I am getting ready to come home in April. Danielle just got her passport so now everything is set. It is such a nice feeling to have all the loose ends with traveling tied up.
Jason is getting ready for another final, this time it is in Community and Preventative Medicine. He says it shouldn’t be a hard test and feels pretty good about it. Of course I am stressed out and want him to Ace it.
