Kids say the darndest things

Kids say the darndest things. This is a fact. One which I have had the pleasure of experiencing for myself.
Before we left Grenada Jason was a big part of our bedtime routine. In fact, there were several nights when Jas put the kids to bed by himself. When we left and came back to Utah the kids had a hard time adjusting to going to bed without their dad. Even though I followed the same pattern the kids were struggling. So to help them get to sleep I began singing to them. They each have their own song and I would sing that. Also, having been in Primary, I knew some of the songs that the kids are learning so I would also sing those to them. I was hoping to help Dyson learn the songs well for the program.
One of the songs they are learning is all 3 verses to I Am a Child of God. I was singing this song one night and Dys was singing along with me while I sang the first verse. He kind of knew the second verse, but he didn't know any of the third verse so he just sat and listened. When I finished the last verse I noticed he was smiling, and then he asked me to sing it again. (just the last verse) Of course being the mom that I am I was anticipating some sort of sweet spiritual comment, maybe along the lines of " I want to live with Heavenly Father again too" or " I love my blessings" or even " I am a child of God mom" So with these thoughts in mind I sang the third verse. It says: I am a child of God, rich blessings are in store, If I but learn to do His will, I'll live with Him once more.
When I finished the second time Dyson started laughing and said "Mom, you said something funny"
I was confused so I asked him what was so funny. He replied, "Mom, you said butt learn!"
I nearly died. Here I was expecting some sweet spiritual something and he gives me "butt learn." We both spent a good portion of time laughing about that one, and I still can't sing that verse without smiling and I usually laugh out loud.
I can just see the primary program now...when they finish singing that song Dyson is going to call from the front of the chapel "Mom, I said butt learn!"
